What’s it about?
The allegedly true story of Ed and Lorraine Warren investigating a wholly unique possession, the shocking murders that it caused, and the real-life court case that sparked National curiosity.
What did we think?
Shane Anderson says: For casual filmgoers, this horror picture will be entertaining enough, some great performances from Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson (as always) and some surprising humour moved it along nicely.
However, for diehard fans, this third instalment doesn’t quite live up to the standard of the previous entries in the series, and while not the worst of the Conjuring Universe, it certainly falls behind a lot of the other films we’ve seen so far. 4/10
