What did we think?
Elizabeth Best says: This neo-noir sci-fi thriller is slick, with an intriguing plot, striking visuals and great performances from (almost) all the cast. The problem is that it feels ever so slightly less than the some of its parts. I kept comparing it to other films in my mind and wanted a wow moment that never came. Instead there were lots of “oh that’s cool” moments and a love story that, while touching and clever, didn’t move me in the way I hoped it would, being that it’s written by one of the creators of TV’s Westworld.
