Elizabeth Best says: In The Heights is a joyous celebration of culture and that indescribable feeling of belonging. Like a blast of summer holidays radiating out of the screen, this film sizzles with colourful choreography, catchy songs and a spirit that will make you want to go home and organise a block party for your nearest and dearest.

Hot tip: there’s a post credits scene, so don’t rush off. 8/10
